SSL certificate update
I can see the SSL certificate expiration date using the uptime command.
I was too lazy to set up ntfy notifications, so I checked manually today and found that my WordPress blog’s certificate expires today.
Taking advantage of this timing, I replaced all the expiring SSL certificates on my websites. They are valid for 3 months because they are free certificates.
It took me about half an hour in total.

Chrome v3 extension
Because BTCPayServer requires at least $25 to open a Bitcoin Lightning channel, I’m not handling payments for now. I’ll consider the initial funding issue later when I have some income.
Currently, YouTube live streaming has the highest potential for doubling, or even multiplying my income by 5 or 10 times. Therefore, I plan to write a Chrome v3 extension to automate YouTube live streaming-related tasks.
First, it will detect the live stream status. The Chrome v3 extension will open a browser tab with the YouTube URL and use content.js to check the DOM for the current live stream status description.
It will record three states: live streaming, not live streaming, and other. This information will then be sent to an API written with FastAPI, which will store the data in SQLite for later data analysis.
I set up FastAPI locally, had AI write simple data storage and query code, and then started the service locally (no public IP or domain name needed).
After spending an afternoon, I finally got the Chrome v3 extension and FastAPI running. Now I can automate the detection of live stream status and save the data via the API (for later data analysis).

Cash income
This blog is about the daily life, experiments, tests, and documentation of a digital nomad.
Besides YouTube revenue, the most important things are real-time income and cash flow.
Unfortunately, I don’t have live streaming revenue or traffic revenue on TikTok, but I still want to move towards live streaming, such as live commerce and live streaming battles/donations.
BTCPayServer is for selling VIP memberships and paid e-books, but I’m currently stuck on the initial funding for the Lightning Network channel.
YouTube live streaming and other revenue data will be available after two days, and I’ll receive the payment after a month.
Currently, I need to consider traffic revenue and payment strategies on other platforms, specifically WeChat Official Accounts.
The WeChat ecosystem has login, payment, mini-programs, traffic, and communities. Most importantly, when I publish articles and images, I get revenue from the traffic, which is much higher than my WordPress blog.
Currently, I plan to use WeChat Official Accounts as a source of cash flow, with a portion from traffic monetization and another portion from paid e-books or future paid communities.
