A digital nomad’s daily life: YouTube live streams, food, games, and everyday activities.

YouTube live stream

I’ve always disliked live streaming.

Because live streaming is a woman’s strength. They can stream anything you can imagine: chatting, dancing, working out, doing makeup, dressing up, taking walks, eating, cooking—you name it.

And whether it’s their figure, looks, clothes, voice, a specific body part, or even just a shot of them, they’ll attract viewers.

But men, not being suited for video, unless they’re active, funny, or exceptionally good-looking, generally won’t get good live streaming data.

However, after trying long-form YouTube videos for several years and recently short-form videos, I haven’t found a good way to further increase viewership.

Live streaming, on the other hand, has some advantages. I don’t need to edit; I can directly showcase my basic life. TikTok live streams allow for tipping and product sales, so you don’t need to figure out how to make money.

And live streaming viewership is real-time. This means I can see real-time traffic feedback.

Relying on WordPress blog ads was a revenue model ten years ago, and commission-based referrals are a very slow way to earn money.

But now, in the era of live streaming, ordinary people can earn enough to buy a house in one night through live streaming, but other channels don’t offer that.

So I started trying live streaming. I don’t need to deliberately cater to anyone; I just need to quietly write my blog, code, play games, sleep, and then start the live stream.

I can also eat delicious food while watching TV series. In short, I just need to record my daily live streams; there’s no need for deliberate editing or interaction.

Live Interaction

The above mentioned natural recording, but a better approach to live streaming is interaction. You can choose not to interact, but interaction is far better.

Real-time interaction is one of the key benefits of live streaming. Unlike long or short videos, which are pre-processed—you can’t add chili peppers to a finished dish halfway through cooking—live streaming allows for real-time interaction.

You can also view the comments section in real-time and answer questions, such as during live tutorials or Q&A sessions.

Live streaming revenue

YouTube live streams have ads,

but I haven’t received any tips yet,

nor have I done any live-stream e-commerce.

I’ll look into the specific revenue stream methods later; first, I need to build up the live stream traffic.

With traffic comes subscribers, and with traffic comes revenue.
