Plans and thoughts for digital nomads in 2025: a summary of some projects

Current Status

Currently operating several YouTube channels

Only short videos on YouTube have a little traffic and revenue, and the revenue of long videos can be ignored

Since the day before yesterday, I have tried Homelab and deployed multiple blog sites to try to increase the revenue of Google ads on the website

The Google ads of previous blog sites were also infinitely close to 0. Now I plan to use quantity methods in the early stage to quickly increase the revenue of the website

Later, I plan to try tictok and try the live broadcast field

After all, the highest revenue is only the following

A single long video on YouTube suddenly became popular, with tens of millions of views and corresponding revenue

An article on a WordPress blog was on the homepage, with tens of millions of visits and corresponding revenue

Tk’s live broadcast was recommended, and the revenue of live broadcasting was good, with the possibility of earning hundreds of thousands overnight

The above bet is that a certain content will trigger the algorithm of a certain platform one day, and then obtain a large amount of revenue in a short time

Current progress

YouTube short videos are output daily, and there is nothing to optimize

YouTube long videos are output randomly, if there is one, it will be published, if there is none, it will be ignored, and no special attention will be paid

WordPress blog currently has 5 blog sites built and deployed, among which
wordpress.dsx2016.com (the most updated articles)

WordPress blog expects each blog to update one article every day, but it is not necessary. If there is something you want to record, just update it casually, and if there is no content, don’t update it (if you want the advantage of quantity, it is best to update 10 articles a day)

TK is also updated randomly now. Only when a YouTube long video is updated, the same content will be updated to TK casually. If there is no content, there is no need to update it deliberately. First stabilize the account so that it will not be restricted when needed later.

Tips

This morning, I counted the total income as of June 1, 2025.

The total income of YouTube + WordPress is far from meeting the requirements of daily life.

It can’t even meet the minimum daily server costs (domain name + server + electricity + Internet fees + some hardware costs).

So the goal is divided into several stages.

The first stage is to qualify for income on each platform, so that there is income as long as there is content output.

The second stage is that the income from all platforms can be equal to the cost paid, at least there is no loss (this time has not yet counted the time and energy costs spent on the server).

The third stage is that the total income meets the minimum survival needs, which is better than Such as daily meals, accommodation, commuting, etc.

The fourth stage is that the total income is similar to the salary of the previous job, so that the side job is consistent with the main job and you don’t have to go back to work

The fifth stage is that the total income exceeds the salary of the job, and there is a certain amount of savings and extra time to improve the quality of life

The sixth stage is that the total income is stable and automation begins at the same time. It no longer takes a lot of time and energy to operate, but to make more money in the least possible time (if you can’t have more time, then digital nomads have no meaning, and there is not much difference from working from nine to five)

The seventh stage is to truly travel in various countries, develop your own business around the world, and have a considerable income
