Traffic data
I’ve been writing this blog, Nomad, for about six months now, updating roughly once every two weeks (I originally planned to update daily, but with little revenue and traffic, I haven’t been updating much).
Let’s look at the data:
In Google Analytics, half of the clicks and visits are about how to make money and how to generate advertising revenue.
For example, unmanned live streaming, integrating Google Ads into WordPress blogs, online order taking, Bitcoin, etc.
The rest of the content, aside from complaining about Reddit, almost all indirectly helps you increase your income, such as choosing blog content areas, YouTube tips, etc.
For example, I currently have a few topics:
One is how I deployed frp using Docker
Another is how I earned $10 a day through YouTube. $0
One is how many days it took for my WordPress application to be approved for Google Ads, and the other is my blog’s focus and plans.
YouTube is definitely the most interesting, as it directly tells you how to make money.
WordPress is the second most interesting because it gives you the qualification to earn money. How much you earn depends on your abilities, but at least you’re qualified.
Docker is the third. Aside from highly specialized personnel, ordinary people and programmers rarely use it. It’s just a feature, not profitable, and not even entertainment; it’s just a basic, optional setup.
Furthermore, both YouTube and WordPress are Google’s own businesses. Even if you don’t want them to be featured, Google will actively promote them. Anything that can make money will definitely receive official support.

YouTube traffic
Let me share some of my recent thoughts:
One is shifting from long-form videos to short-form videos. Even a few short videos getting views are better than no long videos at all.
Another is that my WordPress blog was initially created to complement YouTube as a document sharing platform. This includes sharing code from videos, drafts before video production, data charts, and text content. The idea is to allow YouTube users who want documentation to access the blog, and WordPress users who want to watch videos to watch YouTube videos.
Currently, my blog gets about 50 visitors daily from Google Analytics, but I rarely see them going to my YouTube channel, so YouTube video traffic seems ineffective.
I don’t expect WordPress to generate much income on its own. It’s currently only $0.01 a month, and I expect it to be the same next month—practically zero. There are no commissions, affiliate marketing, or paid digital products. I update the blog mainly because I need to record and reflect, and evenings are better for writing than recording videos, as they require quiet.
The core focus remains YouTube.

tips
I mainly share technical information.
However, I don’t want to share technical information right now; I want to think more and record more.
For example:
Why should you create a YouTube channel?
Why do you prioritize sharing food and vlogs on YouTube?
Why shoot long videos and then edit them into short videos on YouTube? Or post one short YouTube video every day (no long videos required).
What changes has YouTube brought me? How much revenue does YouTube bring me?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of my current YouTube channel, and how should I optimize it?
Why do you need to create a WordPress blog?
Why is my WordPress blog hosted on a local server?
How can I increase my WordPress blog traffic tenfold?
How can I get my WordPress blog to drive traffic to my YouTube channel?
What is your most-viewed YouTube video, and why?
What is your most-viewed WordPress article, and why?
Which YouTube video or WordPress blog post generates revenue for you, and why?
What are your revenue streams?
I’ve found that both XAI and ChatGPT can only assist your thinking, not replace it. You can’t lose the ability to think.
I’m not suited to filming or adding voiceovers for YouTube videos at night. Even now, when I’m writing WordPress blog posts, the keyboard is quite loud. I’ll try to keep it quiet and go to bed early.
Currently, my WordPress blog has about 50 daily visitors. I hope to reach 100 visitors in the short term. How can I do this?

It’s past midnight. Goodnight.
