The daily life of a digital nomad: creating a personal e-book website and using BTC for payment

Personal website

I built a front-end project using Vue Vite.

After launching, the red area represents the subsequent e-book cover.

The input box prompts you to enter your email address before clicking to pay (because the subsequent successful payment callback will send a message to this email address by default).

Payment methods support mainstream currencies such as BTC and ETH, as well as other cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency service providers

After clicking Pay, proceed to the payment page with your payment information.

For example, if the e-book is priced at $10 USD, the email address provided by the customer will be the payment destination upon successful payment.

The payment interface is as follows. For example, with Bitcoin, the minimum payment is generally $30 or more.

You can also choose other cryptocurrencies.

You can choose from dozens of mainstream currencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT, and more.

Here’s my payment connection test (permanent link, feel free to open it and take a look).

Features:

No personal or company ID required, no taxes, etc. (although there are fees, the transaction process is simplified).

A custom API is available, allowing you to configure payment methods based on your website’s interaction.

Suitable for people with programming experience like me.

I’ve tested cryptocurrency payments and deposits and haven’t encountered any issues.

My website is still under development.

My first cryptocurrency project took me a day to develop, but I ultimately abandoned it due to the need to submit documents and review the website.

This website provider was my second cryptocurrency project, and I also spent a day testing and developing it.

I’ve found that completing a clickable e-book and implementing a $10 Bitcoin payment website will take at least a week.

Below is the link to the website; please check it out if you need it (use Google to log in).

Tips

Developing a website that works for you is still quite challenging.

It’s recommended to prioritize using open-source applications or plugins to streamline the sales process for electronic products and virtual items.
